CIoF advice for working with consultants and freelancers

As lockdown restrictions ease, and public fundraising restarts, some charities might consider using external help with their fundraising. So it is timely that the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (“CIoF”) has updated its advice on working with consultants and freelancers.

Drawing heavily on the Code of Fundraising Practice (as well it should) it explains the difference between contracted workers and consultants, how best to develop relationships with both, and the sort of work that they might be able to help with.

It’s certainly worth a read, and you can see the article here.
