Martin Lewis’s moneysavingexpert website recently ran a poll asking users this question, and just under half used the same password for every account. However, better news was that amongst those with more than 100 accounts, 52% said they used a password manager (and presumably generated a random password for each account).
Password managers are so powerful now, and offer some great company and enterprise wide features, that I do wonder why any organisation would not use them. Proper use of a password manager can go towards reducing the risk of a data breach, and can form an important part of your Data Security Policy, normally needed to demonstrate compliance with UK GDPR.
