Protect yourself from a cyber attack

In the week when we heard that Colonial Pipeline had paid a $4.4million ransom to hackers who instigated a ransomware attack that shut down the pipeline carrying 45% of the US east coasts diesel, petrol and jet fuel, and a ransomware attack on the Irish Health Service led to the cancelling of 4 out of 5 hospital appointments, the devastating effects of cyber attacks are all too clear.
