If you applied to the NCLF or were awarded a grant between September 2013 and December 2019, you may be affected by a data breach which has just come to light. NCLF says that this affects UK Portfolio, England funding and Building Better Opportunities customers.
The National Lottery Community Fund has not explained how the data breach happened, but has said that the data breach included contact details (name, address, email and phone numbers), date of birth, bank details and the organisations address and website.
NCLF encourages any customers which may be affected to change account passwords, loo out for phising emails and suspicious bank account activity, and consider running a credit check against their name and address to help identify any fraudulent. There are a number of free services for this, but you might like to look at this one from MoneySavingExpert https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/creditclub/
