Are you promoting your Fundraising Badge?

As public fundraising gains momentum again, the Fundraising Regulator is planning a series of advertisements to encourage donors to look out for the Fundraising Badge (‘Registered with the Fundraising Regulator’ with the FR logo).

So now it’s a great time to make sure that you are displaying yours … on your website, email signatures, and all of your marketing and fundraising materials.

The Fundraising Regulator’s messages are:

  • Before supporting a charity, you should look out for the Fundraising Badge on its fundraising materials. This is the logo that says ‘registered with the Fundraising Regulator’.
  • The badge shows that a charity has committed to fundraise in a way that is legal, open, honest and respectful.
  • When you see the badge, you can have confidence in a charity’s fundraising.

so don’t miss out on donations just because your donors cannot see your Fundraising Badge.
