This looks like being our most popular webinar EVER, so don’t miss out!
Fundraisers need to strive to raise more and more funds, against the background of increasing demand and continuing restrictions on some fundraising activities.
It’s more important than ever to make sure you stay safe by complying with data protection regulations, without it hindering your ability to fundraise. So register for our next free webinar on Friday 26th November at 09:30.
If you are a fundraiser, or involved in supporting them with IT, or need to understand fundraising at management or Board level, then this free webinar is for you.
In the webinar, full of practical guidance, Nick will cover:
- General rules to guide your fundraising
- Common mistakes that fundraisers make and how to avoid them
- How to create signup and response forms that will help you to fundraise
- Consent: When to ask for it (and when not to!) and what to do if you don’t have it
- How your CRM or fundraising database can help rather than hinder you
We will also look at how your Board and your IT team can support you.
As always everything will be related back to the best practice, the UK GDPR and ICO guidance including their newly updated Accountability Framework, and there will be links to free resources to help you.
There will be time for a Q&A at the end of the webinar, and you can submit specific questions in advance.
The webinar will be led by Nick Swain, a data protection professional with experience of working directly with more than 45 non-profits to help them stay safe and deliver more impact. Also, Nick has a Diploma in Fundraising and is a voluntary fundraiser for Flame Cambodia.
