Giving Tuesday is a day when everyone, everywhere can do something to support the good causes that mean so much to them. People are encouraged to volunteer their time; donate money; share skills; campaign for something; donate goods, food, or clothes; organise a community event such as a street or park clean-up or a coffee morning.
This year, #GivingTuesday is on 29th November, the Tuesday following the much-publicised hype which is Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The Chartered Institute of Fundraising is now running the #GivingTuesday campaign in the UK, where they have taken this on from the Charities Aid Foundation.
In 2020, over £20 million was raised for good causes, with over 360 million impressions on Twitter. So this year, how can you make the most of #GivingTuesday?
