Apple releases updates to fix actively exploited security flaw

If you have an Apple device (likely to be iPhone, iPad Pro, iPad Air or iPad Mini but please do check all your devices), you will be able to install a security fix that Apple says has been exploited by some, to infiltrate the engine that powers the Safari web browser.

I hope that checking for updates, or installing them automatically, is a part of your cyber security procedures.

But this one is especially important, so do check and follow the instructions. It took less than 5 minutes on my iPad Mini using the ‘Settings | Software Update’ menu.
