It might be argued that donor retention has never been more important.
And so it’s very helpful that some insights into this have just been published by the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy. Their report is entitled ‘Loyalty Meets Philanthropic Psychology: A New Approach to Supporter Retention.‘ and it stresses that whilst retention is linked to loyalty, loyalty does not work in ways we may have traditionally thought.
If you want to understand more about your donors, and keep them for longer, then we encourage you to download the report; it’s free (aside from the cost of giving your name and email address) and available from https://www.philanthropy-institute.org.uk/reports-sign-up (just select the ‘Loyalty Meets Philanthropic Psychology’ report)
