As in-person events are growing, here is a little tech solution that can help your fundraisers stand out from the crowd even more. Pimoroni, who supply maker kits and components for Raspberry Pi and other platforms, have released a new version of their business-card sized ePaper screen which is an ideal and innovative replacement for a name badge / business card.
The original has been enhanced with a built-in Raspberry Pico W, giving low-power Wi-Fi and enabling real-time display of web pages etc as well as text and graphics. Programming is in Python.
We use the earlier version as a name badge, and it generates a lot of interest, so why not help your fundraisers increase their profile even more at events. And being ePaper, a static bade needs no power at all.
