Fundraising Regulator announces annual report and online event

The Fundraising regulator has just published their annual report and accounts for 2021/22, and you can access it using the link https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/more-from-us/annual-report. In it, they reveal a 14% increase in the overall number of charities registered, and a 24% increase in registrations from smaller charities who spend less than £100,000 per year on their fundraising.

Perhaps these are signs that registration, and the use of the ‘Fundraising Badge’ logo are increasingly seen by the public as a mark of well run charities, to whom people might donate with some confidence.

The Fundraising Regulator has also announced their annual online event on Tuesday 21st March from 10:00 to 11:15. It’s an invitation-only in-person event at the British Museum in London, but everyone can view the livestream using the link https://www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/more-from-us/annual-event and no registration will evidently be required; this link can also be used to submit a question and for more information.
