The second reading of the UK Data Protection and Digital Information (No2) Bill is scheduled for 17th April, at which point we should know the scope of any amendments that the government, or others, wish to table. This will give us a better view of the final shape of the replacement for the UK GDPR, which is likely to become law before the end of 2023.
