Bard is Google’s generative AI tool and rival to ChatGPT.
It has been launched in the US but plans to roll Bard out in the EU have been paused, until Google satisfies privacy concerns raised by Ireland’s Data Protection Commission.
The IDPC is waiting for Google’s Data Protection Impact Assessment. That should be a document worth reading.
