On world password day last week (does everything have to have its own day now?) Microsoft, Apple and Google announced future support for FIDO passwordless logins.
In case you saw this and wondered what it meant, put very simply you might authenticate yourself to your smartphone, and then it would communicate this over Bluetooth to other devices you have linked to, to avoid you having to sign in to them too.
