For some time I have been looking out for a simple dictation tool for notes, and this week I found that I already have one.
I discovered Windows Voice Access, which is free with Windows 11 and replaces Windows Speech Recognition. The documentation says that it runs locally and your words are not used to train AI, but please satisfy yourself of that before you start using it or offering it to your teams.
