Every few years, the European Union reviews those countries which it has deemed to have data adequacy with the EU GDPR.
The EU has extended the UK’s data adequacy decision until 27th December, whilst it considers if the Data (Use and Access) Bill and other changes affect its decision. It is an important test for the UK government’s changes, and let us hope that data adequacy is renewed.
