The Charity Commission has announced that they plan to use AI tools to help with the backlog of charity registrations, which have reached 1,000 per month.

There are already around 170,000 UK registered charities and with increasing pressure on fundraising and finding trustees, should the Charity Commission be encouraging support for existing charities rather than creating even more?
