According to a report in BBC Tech and available at https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cdrkmk00jy0o, Google search engine results were showing user conversation with the AI chatbot Grok, seemingly without user’s knowledge.
One commentator described AI chatbots as a privacy disaster in progress. Whilst that may be an oversimplification, it is certainly true that AI chatbots do pose some additional data protection risks.
