Alongside the changes to the UK GDPR, the government is introducing a new Cyber Security Bill with the aim of strengthen the UK’s resilience and preparedness against cyberattacks.
It seems that organisations which provide our data centres, IT management, helpdesk support, AI development, payment services, email and website hosting, etc will have new and clear responsibilities.
There may be a ripple-down effect eventually, but it should help us all to be more resilient.
