Quite often we see lists of tips published online, and recently a couple of sources suggested tips for more secure email. Some of these need a little tech to achieve, but why not consider:
- Disable the auto-fill functionality – the few extra seconds spent finding the correct email address may help prevent a data breach.
- Restrict email containing attachments – or block it completely.
- Avoid email if you can – perhaps using a secure shared folder with notifications such as provided by sync.com, SharePoint, etc.
- Warn before sending messages to external recipients.
- Warn before using CC:
