A client recently received a DSAR that was 4 pages long (the request and not the response!) and which was obviously AI generated.
It is likely that we might all see more of these but do remember that you are responsible for deciding what elements are in scope and what should be provided.
The ICO’s guidance on FOI requests and AI https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/foi/freedom-of-information-foi-and-artificial-intelligence/ has parts that can also apply to SAR’s, and of course, your own Subject Rights policy should help you here.
And you can find the ICO’s own SAR guidance at https://ico.org.uk/for-organisations/uk-gdpr-guidance-and-resources/subject-access-requests/.
