People who enjoy working from home, in whole or for part of the time, will argue that they are more productive and this can certainly sometimes be the case.
However, more organisations are looking at ways of monitoring their staff and so the ICO has produced some guidance to ensure that data protection rights are upheld.
Whether you monitor employees or not (and most contracts of employment do provide for this), the ICO’s guidance will give you assurance that you are doing the right things and help you to craft future policies.
