Most organisations say that they will review their UK GDPR and cybersecurity policies and procedures annual, which is generally a good thing as long as you also update them with any learnings throughout the year.
But when is ‘annually’? Without a definitive plan, it will likely not happen as it will be one of those ‘important but not urgent’ tasks that always gets put back.
We have two ideas to help you get this done:
- Nominate a ‘UK GDPR month’ when all these annual checks can take place. Perhaps now is the ideal time as it’s quieter, but choose a month that works best for you. Just a word of caution, not to select a month when most people are on holiday, otherwise all the work will fall to you!
- Ask us to lead the annual check for you, so you know it will be done.
