Japan says goodbye to floppy discs

Up until very recently, people in Japan were asked to submit documents to government authorities using floppy disks, with more than 1,000 regulations requiring their use. Remember those 3.5″ diskettes (or 5.25″ or even 8″ in earlier times)?
