The European Commission has signposted that it will review the EU GDPR, to especially help small and medium-sized organisations with their compliance. This is the latest area that is under EU scrutiny to remove ‘red tape’ without changing the underlying principles, or compromising the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights.
The changes they make, may eventually make their way across the channel, so we will keep you posted.
