Optimism for legacy gifts among younger donors

The latest report from Remember A Charity, who encourage more people to leave gifts in their Will, shows optimistic signs that younger donors are considering leaving gifts in their Wills.

According to the summary report available at https://www.rememberacharity.org.uk/media/gyfcqnh4/oko-summary-report-2025-public-march-2025-1.pdf, almost a third of supporters aged 40 or over with a Will, have already included one or more gifts to charity. Over half of those pledging a legacy gift are in their 40’s and 50’s.

Every charity should consider a legacy programme, which does not need to be complex. Get in touch for some ideas if you would like to know more.

This report is packed with insights, and we hope that you find value in it.
