The ICO has launched consultation’s on other areas of the DUAA but not soft opt-in. It had said this consultation would launch in August 2025 but there is no sign of that yet.
In the meantime, we would encourage you to consider the circumstances in which you might still choose to rely on consent, and the potential impact on your CRM systems.
