Kent school sends A-level results to classmates

A grammar school in Kent has apologised for emailing pupils all their classmates A-level results by mistake.

The Head teacher said they were sorry for the additional stress it had caused, and blamed a “significant technical issue” for the error.

It seems that they stopped some emails going out, and recalled them all (which was the right course of action but rarely works).

An independent data protection officer (not me) is deciding whether it should be reported to the ICO.
