The Charity Commission has issued new guidance on social media and how charities can understand the risks and their responsibilities, and be ready when issues arise.
Their guidance also includes a handy checklist for developing a social media policy, and we recommend use consider this, either as a template or as a benchmark against your existing policy.
The guidance also covers how charities might use social media for ‘political’ campaigning.
