BHF predicts research investment to halve

As a direct consequence of COVID-19 and its effect on fundraising, the British Heart Foundation is predicting that its annual research budget will be cut by £50 million this year.

Charity retail shops and community fundraising are very important to BHF, and of course both of these have been hard hit by the pandemic and the lockdown measures. You can read BHF’s article here but there is a lesson here for us all.
