Fundraising Regulator offers guidance on restarting public fundraising

The Fundraising Regulator, together with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising, has just released guidance on how to safely and effectively restart public fundraising as we begin to emerge from COVID-19.

The guidance covers the over-arching principles which should be applied to all fundraising methods, and specific advice on public fundraising (including street, door-to-door and private site fundraising).

Its aim is to aid good decision-making and sets out a framework for safe and responsible fundraising.

Please treat this as a ‘must read’, whether you are a fundraiser, manage a fundraising team, or are a Trustee who needs to know that fundraising is being done according to best practice.
