Running a house draw

Have you considered whether a house draw could be a suitable fundraising technique to help diversify your income in these challenging times?

Essentially, people buy or otherwise obtain tickets which are entered into a draw, where the prize is a property. Your charity then receives all or some of the proceeds.

The Chartered Institute of Fundraising have produced a helpful article on how to start thinking about such a venture, which also highlights some risks and how they might be mitigated.

Their article also include a short case study of Teenage Cancer Trust who raised more than £250,00 from a house draw. Could you do something similar?
