Lockdown fundraising advice from CIoF and the Fundraising Regulator

Following the announcement of the government’s lockdown on 4th January 2021, the Chartered Institute of Fundraising (“CIoF”) and the Fundraising Regulator have issued a joint statement. You can read it here but the main point is that any charity fundraising which involves contact with members of the public cease where the highest levels of restrictions apply (for example, the closure of non-essential shops, gyms, and schools).

I also recommend that you visit the CIoF’s useful COVID-19 hub for more information, guidance and resources.
